Our team implemented the practices of the PBS ECEC project by organizing enjoyable and playful activities aimed at enhancing the social-emotional skills of children. Our carefully planned activities encouraged children to express themselves while also honing their communication and collaboration skills.

The online learning materials and guidelines developed as part of the PBS-ECEC project are currently being used to effectively train more than 100 early years educators and 40 trainers across the four partner countries (Portugal, Cyprus, Ireland, Greece) in the use of a PW-PBS approach. The Institute of Child Education and Psychology (ICEP) Europe have been working on an Erasmus+ research project titled Implementing Positive Behaviour Support in Early Childhood Education and Care (PBS-ECEC).
As part of the research project, we would like to invite preschools to take part in a free training programme designed to help educators to create an inclusive learning environment which supports positive relationships and promotes children´s socialemotional development.
Educators will receive online training and ongoing support from a Positive Behaviour Support coach, and will also get access to a free, online training package which includes five modules:
Module 1: Early childhood education and socio-emotional learning o Module 2: Basic theoretical framework of PBS
Module 3: Practical tips on supporting socio-emotional learning and PBS
Module 4: Whole-school programme approach
Module 5: Assessment and monitoring methods

International Hellenic University/Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο της Ελλάδος participated in the Artevelde International Days sessions for Preschool and Primary Education taking place on the 21st – 24th of February 2023, organized by the @Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Gent.
During the sessions academics, students and educational stakeholders had the opportunity to be informed about the PBS ECEC Project, in which International Hellenic University is one of the partners’ Consortium. PBS ECEC Project aims to examine the feasibility of Program-wide Positive Behaviour Support across Europe.
